One Earth, a commercial landscape industry leader with over 25 years of experience, is looking for a driven, experienced Lawn Forman who is reliable with an excellent work ethic. Applicants must be knowledgeable and proficient in the daily use of weed edgers, mowers, blowers and hedge trimmers. Must be able to operate heavy equipment and have experience driving a landscaping truck with an enclosed trailer.

Full-time and part-time positions are available with a growing business that is looking for long-term employees to be part of our team.

The Foreman will be responsible for executing site-level tasks on client sites. The Foreman leader will direct the work of 2-5 other employees and ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards set by One Earth Landscape Services, and our clients.  Forman leaders will oversee crews working in varying service lines, including basic maintenance, including all commercial lawn maintenance equipment and landscape installation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing daily site operations for landscape construction crew.
• Coordinating the equipment and materials needed for each project.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and delegate work to crew team members.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Supervising and training crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety aspects.
• Maintaining project schedules and completing landscape construction projects within deadlines.
• Safely operating equipment such as front end loader, zero turn mower, chipper, stump grinder, etc.
• Loading/unloading heavy cargo, heavy equipment, and planting materials.
• Ensuring equipment and truck/trailer are in working order and properly maintained.
• Knowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod, installation, irrigation.
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight).
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment needed for landscape construction projects.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

We’re currently seeking a reliable and skilled Landscape Crew member to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated crew member who is passionate about maintaining lush and well-kept lawns. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic. As part of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of lawn maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' properties are in top shape.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
• Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches.
• Planting and maintaining flower beds, and applying mulch.
• Picking up trash and debris.
• Pulling and spraying of weeds.
• Mixing of chemicals (round up).
• Operate and maintain various landscape equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
• Use assigned tools and equipment in a proper/safe manner.
• Become proficient in loading and unloading of truck and trailer.
• Adhere to company policies, standards and safety guidelines.
• Work with other employees as a team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
• Maintaining a polite, friendly, and responsive demeanor with guests and customers.
